how can i make lasting friendships out of people I've known for 2 weeks who think that im "kinda cool"
I've known them since the start of school & I really want them to be like WOW shes awesome....like they actually want to be friend and forced to like me...we have a REALLY small class obviously
6 girls, 8 guys....thats the whole grade

Be yourself is not the easiest way but it is the best way to keep a friend. You have to be truthful but you cant hurt someone by telling something that can hurt them. Keep a friend is the hardest thing you can do, but if you can keep them than you are lucky. If you go to different schools or college ie different than you need to keep in touch with them by phone, internet, regular mail. Once in while have a get together party to keep up with whats going on. I would love to have that many people in my class. I had more than 1,000 classmates in my class 98.

Your best friends come from some that really knows you. I would say that knowing someone two or three weeks doesn't qualify them as best friend material, not yet anyhow. Get to know them and let them get to know you. If they are meant to be one of your best friends, it will happen. Just be careful, having to many best friends is more trouble than it is worth. One of your friends may not like one of your other friends and that will put you in the middle. Just be careful!

Be yourself. Get involved with things. Plan stuff with them. Keep in touch.
