hmm.... The downstairs Tv and DVD player sometimes. If it is set on a different settiing I can't even get the Tv (with satalite) to work. Sometimes there is no sound when using the DVD player and it gets all messed up!

And also the Digital Video Camera.... But that's because I have never tryed. I can usually figure those things out easily though.

I have this fancy looking wine bottle cap that claims on the label to preserve the vitality of an opened bottle of wine. Somehow the pump on it sucks the air out of the bottle and seals it for later drinking. This is the second one I've had ... no clue how to get it to do anything. Mine have come to me as gifts - fathers day and Christmas, I think. The people buying these things just thought it was a wine gadget I would like - helped them solve the what to get problem. Everyone is afraid to buy me a bottle of wine for fear it won't suit my high standards. I wish they would try. I've seen these things advertised everywhere, even in those airplane shopping catalogues. I have never seen anyone who was able to get their's to work. I'm sure someone out there will keep making these things to sell to kids trying to find something cheap to buy dad on father's day.

The trouble is that a gift from a beloved child can't be thrown out the next day. You have to try to use it and act like it is the best gift ever. When my youngest girl was 9, she gave me a kitten for father's day ... I would have preferred the wine bottle seal cap. I still have the cat. I think I can throw away the bottle thingy.

None -- I know how to operate all the electronics in my home (and the other systems as well -- and can fix most of them myself). I learned these skills through my life so far -- because most of the time I've been a single (and during a short marriage to a loser -- well, I STILL did the repairs mostly by myself too).

I bought a digital voice recorder for school but it's so complicated I'm taking it back tomorrow. Why pay $30 for a headache?

This is going to make me seem like such an idiot, but my Swiffer mop...it's been in the box since last May, and it is not even a gadget really.

I cannot figure out how to change the settings on my phone/answering system...such as the volume and number of rings. The last time I tried, I messed up the time setting.

I still don't understand how to use my camcorder that I've had for at least 2 years now, or the new t.v. that we've had for a couple of weeks. How lame is that?!
