I really don't care what any celebrity's have to say there really out of touch even if it touch's them personally.
Look at all the money thats been DUMPED into finding a cure for aids.
What a waste
Cancer is bad but what can the average person do...nothing
Even though they live sheltered lives they want the public to think they care about issues and people.
There's money to be made somewhere in this.

she is advocating for cancer... how can you be so cold-hearted?

this is what she had to say...
When I was ten years old, my younger brother Jeff died of leukemia.

Cancer kills 7 million people worldwide each year. Yet it is a treatable disease that—in time—is beatable. However, in today’s troubled global environment, valuable resources that would otherwise go to cancer research are frequently re-directed by the crisis du jour.

What can we, as individuals and as a global community, do to focus & mobilize our governments to find the cures that will make cancer a fear of the past?

SHE LOST HER 3 YR OLD BROTHER TO LEUKEMIA! I've lost 4 friends to cancer(and my step dad). Do a little research before you speak like that! What do you think it feels like to watch someone you love die slowly and painfully? What if you could help others so they didn't have to go thru that?Trust me,cancer is no respecter of people.I hope you never have to watch a 250 lb,38 yr old man reduced to the state of an infant.Or a mother with 5 kids in her house work until she can't stand up or breathe anymore, then see her children act out because they've lost their momma.wtf is wrong w/you!

I do. She is trying to do something to help people who have cancer. This is important to many people, even you may be affected either by having it at some time in the future or when one of your family gets it. We need people like Cindy to raise the profile of this disease so that it gets the support it deserves.

I guess you could also state 'who cares what anyone has to say or ask'?

To answer that it would seem a lot of people as the popularity of this website proves

I don't think she is wrong in expressing her feelings. Many go through painful experiences and as fellow humans we mature by judging not the book by its cover. She has a concern and is communicating with others. How many extend themselves that far?

Well, I do not care about what Cindy Crowford, or Mell Gibson, or Bush has to say or ask, or any celebrity/politician, etc... but we get to hear it all the time, don't we?
