How can I do this?

Question

I asked this question awhile back about Mapquest.com, but no one seemed to know. I want to send an e-mail to a group with a link from Mapquest showing the end address and allowing people to put in their starting address. How do you do that?

I have provided a link here that I found online where someone did exactly what I want to do, but I can't figure out how they did it. Thanks.

above the map it gives you the option to e-mail or to make the map a link; if you make it a link and e-mail to group, they will be able to enter their own starting address (from) and go from there; good luck!

Try this:
1) Go to mapquest and type in your address under the Maps section (not Directions)
2) Then once that page loads (and it's the correct address), copy the URL from the browser address bar and then send that to people.
3) When they load the page, they can see where the location is, and then click either "Directions to" or "Directions from" (the links are located beneath the address) and then input their address to get the desired directions from point A to point B.

The hyperlink to the example appears in the address bar of the browser. If you want to send someone a mapquest link (though I think Google Maps and Yahoo Maps superior), you can simply copy and paste the URL from the address bar of your browser after you have zoomed into an area of interest. In other words, zoom in on a map of the area you want to send as a map to your friends, then copy and paste the URL from your browser address bar into the text of your email.

Go to mapquest, click on the icon that says map. then put the address of the place that you would like people to drive to, click OK so it shows the map and information about the location, then choose email at the top left, You can then send an email up to multiple people and they will be able to get directions to the place.

you can either post that link to the group and ask that they click the 'directions to' link and enter their address or they can try this link:
