THIS IS NOT A RACIST QUESTION. Just wondering because it came up in another question. All these people crying because there isnt a white history month, give me some good reasons why there should be a whole month deticated to something that is already taught. Good reasons only. No insults!

This is not a racist comment but is there a white college fund, or a white miss america pagent? Our generation of "whites" are not to be blamed for what happened during the years that the blacks were mistreated, all races should get over it. Period. End of my ranting now carry on. Peace and good will towards all men..

I use to sub. teach and i didn't know that we only learned about white history. I've taught about all races and religions. Inventors are all races. Holidays are all different religions. I too would like to know why there is a black history month, black college fund, black museum etc... but if it said white college funds, or white history only then we would be called racist. Also my mom taught me that no one is WHITE only, look into their background. i am dutch, German, Irish, English, Native American. nice question.

i dont think there should be ANY racial history month. it should ALL be tought all year round. i think EVERYONE needs to stop complaining about it. all history is important to know... white, black, hispanic, asian... the list goes on and on.
