It's normal to have braxton hicks. I get them quite often compared to my first pregnancy. Sex definitely triggers them. I am also 27 weeks pregnant. I wouldn't worry unless they get worse or if theres an increase in discharge or if theres blood. If they don't go away, i would call the Dr.

If i were you i'd go to the doctor right away! i was having sex everyday when i was pregnant and they say it's wont harm the baby but what they dont tell you is you should'nt do it as often. Im now 19 weeks but when i was 15 weeks my water bag ripped and i was put on bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy, my doctor asked if i did anything to cause it and all i could think of is i had sex the night before then 3 hours later i started cramping and spotting the next day my bad ripped. My doctor said it could be from too much or rough sex so if i were you i'd go to the doctors right away!

Hun, unless you had EXTREMELY rough sex, it shouldn't cause any harm to you or the baby.
More than likely, it's a coincidence that you're just having cramps. Cramps are a part of pregnancy, unfortunately. Unless you feel like it's contractions or the pain is intense, there's no reason to pay a ton of money and spend hours at the doctor's just to have him or her look you over.
See how you feel tomorrow. If the pain persists, give your doctor a call instead of going in for a check-up, and see what your doctor recommends. More than likely, it's just pregnancy pain. I had cramps a lot when I was pregnant. Good luck, and congratulations!

It shouldn't have hurt anything, assuming your doctor hasn't told you not to have sex. If you have a high risk pregnancy and you disobeyed the doctor's orders there could be something wrong. But, we'll assume you are having a normal pregnancy. Call your doctor, that's the only sure way to know what is going on. If there is something wrong it could just be a coincidence that it occured 2 nights after sex.

If you have read any books the say that sex is okay but expect cramps afterwards. Especially if you had an orgasim. But letting your doctor know is a great thing to do. Make sure to that the pains are irregular and not consistant like labor pains.

Yes, you should go to a doctor. "crampings" are unterus contrations. If he did inside you, the semen also may soften the cervix. You need to get checked if the cramping doesn't go away after you drink lots of water, and lie down on your side for 1 hour. You need to make sure that you haven't dilated.

Well semen can cause false contractions, or Braxton Hicks. I experienced some when I was pregnant from the same reason. You should at least call the doctor and see what they say. Just to be on the safe side.
