I just want to see if people understand my saying.

Here it is:

If the Green Party voted for the Green Party, and the Democrats voted for the Democrats, the Republican Party will always win.

I can speculate at what you are getting at. Essentially if the liberal end of the political spectrum is continual mired in sectarianism and division, where multiple parties of the liberal persuasion vie for office, the liberal electorate will be so divided that they will never win the majority necessary to defeat Republicans, who have united most conservatives, regardless of petty internal squabbles, under one banner. I agree with you wholeheartedly.

As Jesus said: “A house divided cannot stand.” Liberals should express the variance in opinions that exist among their ranks, when they have achieved power, not during the election process. Unfortunately conservatives are better at keeping a unified front because the conservative disposition is inclined to conformity.

Yes. This means that as people who would be likely to vote for the green party would otherwise be voting Democrat, not Republican. Therefore Democrat votes go to the green party, which has no chance of winning and the Republicans win. I believe this is one factor that gave us Bush as president.

As long as liberals and tree huggers are divided between the green party and the democratic party, there will be enough votes to sufficiently give Republican candidates the majority in elections.

The bottom line is - the majority doesn't want traitors, commies or extreme left-wingers in office. I imagine that old-school, pre-1960s Democrats vote for Republican candidates nowadays since the left only gives freaks like Kerry, Gore and GOD FORBID Hillary a chance to get into office. 10 points, please.

yes. you hold the green party responsible for drawing votes away from the democratic candidates.

the problem is, you're wrong. the democrats have been losing on their merits for years. we should quit voting for all of these idiots.
