Another idea is a Starbucks.

The question I have is around what your financial needs are. I ask because, ideally, it is never too early to find a job in an area that you *think* might be your career path. And sometimes this involves taking a lower paying job. Alternately if money is your key goal, then you have to look at where to get the best bucks today.
Four years, or so, from now...when you graduate, you'll have a TREMENDOUS advantage over others if you show that you've got work experience in an industry/career field. This can even mean working at a very entry level position in a company. For example, if you think that you will be majoring in english...look for a job with a publishing company. Even if it is in the mailroom. If you're interested in healthcare, get a job at a hospital. Any job. Bottom line, you'll be setting yourself up for success.

Now if money is your primary motive, think jobs that involve gratuities/tips. Of course, this means you have to have a knack for working with the general public. Not for everyone.

McDonald's is very good about flexible scheduling, and they have a lot of management training programs that will look good on your resume when you graduate.
