"A Poet's Mind"
A true poet writes what they have to say
It’s what is on their mind everyday
Lighting a path for others to follow
Expressing all their pain and sorrow
A love that flows endlessly to fill people’s hearts
Romance and Passion, that’s where it starts,
The love you just can’t wait to share
For some they just don’t care
Strong feelings they hold so deep
To express them in a way to make you weep
Life is just a poet’s reason to live
With every poem compressing feelings into words they give
With every love, heartache, and deepest sorrow
They will keep writing, and they will always be back tomorrow
A poet has so many ups and downs
So they reach deep beneath all the zones
Writing is a way for them to belong
A Poet’s mind sings words of a poetic song

To be a good poet you must be very articulate. Your words must speak to all people and touch their inner thoughts. Poetry describe thing and people, feelings and stuff. A string of line must speak volumes. It must capture the person's imagination and lead them to where ever you wish. Note: I read a lot of poetry and in my own opinion, a poetry that is too wordy is not good poetry. Simplicity is best and remember, it must speak volumes as well.
Also, poetry does not necessary need to rhyme. Here is my poetry on war: "He who declares war, let him shed first blood. Perhaps then may he make the proper assessment" I thought of it when writing an essay on " Just war Theory"

To dream.
to see with in the shining glass is to see the reflection of your past.to journey through lifes most dangerouse webs .
only to rejoyce at lifes most sincer simplicitys .
see it is simple to see and know what we whant but the question
remains just who we are so look to the east and look to the west search for the piece that will show you the way back. for when
you find that you will no were you are and you will always rember to dream is the start.

poetry is word of your spirit.
to write good poetry one need to know what the subject to be about. whats in your soul
remember with each answer you read you find alittle more about yourself and smile as you realize and say to yourself, "Wow, the whole world is talking to Me"
