It amazes me that people don't check with their doctors when they have a health issue. Unless there are doctors on Yahoo Answers, most folks are not medically qualified to give anyone a diagnosis. I always recommend that people see their doctors when they have a condition that concerns them. So I will say the same to you. Any bumps or sores or lesions of unknown origin are best checked by an MD or a dermatologist. Go and have it checked. It's probably nothing serious, but find out for your peace of mind. Good luck.

It's probably a cyst. Just some hard tissue that lies beneath the skin and you're probably able to roll it around, I'll bet. It won't harm you and it probably won't go away. You can have it removed if it bothers you by going to the doctor. He'll have to make a small incision and it will leave a very small scar.

there are many things that It could be, how long has it been there, what shape is it, do you have a belly piercing, and so on...more than likely it could be either a pimple, or a syst. 8 times out of 10 the syst will be begnin, but you need to have it looked at. It could just be a pimple though.

Sounds like it could be the beginning of an ingrown hair. Could be an insect bite. Could be a lot of things. Go to the doctor if it doesn't go away after a few days.

it's probably hives or some other irritation. if it goes away, i wouldn't bother. if it doesn't, then see a doctor.

if it IS an irritation or reaction to something, take benedryl. it's for allergies, but it takes away the swelling and itching of any skin irritations. i had hives really bad for a few days, and after 2 doses of benedryl it went totally away.

hope this helps!

is it around your waist? or below that? sometimes spiders, which are common in every household get inside the waist band of your pajamas, underwear and bite you.. this sometimes leaves a large redish bump. it takes forever to go away too up to 5 - 10 weeks.

You should be asking your doctor?
Are you partial to the great big outdoors?
Mosquitoes, ticks?
Check it out whether it bothers you or not. You are worried enough to ask or maybe you are paranoid. Hey, your thoughts not mine.
