Justin's performance was great! I didn't like the opening, jack black wasn't funny- also the whole thing is boring. I'm white and i think that the white people have gone freaking crazy- i like music from every style possible- Paris hilton had on ugly boot/shoes- the whole thing has gone downhill. there are some great artists in many of the genres and you can't really enjoy it for the stupidness. Boring crap

I LOVED OK GO'S PERFORMANCE!
no matter how famous they get, I'm still proud I knew about them before Here It Goes Again and a Million Ways. And I hated MCR's performance. They hyped it up SO much on the pre-show. I was really dissappointed.
Yeah, I watched MTV for a few moments of my life, get over it *********, it doesn't make me uncool.

They're going OK, but I think Christina Aguilera should've gotten Best Pop Video for Ain't No Other Man. She's actually gotten bold enough to do something out of the ordinary, and DAMN the woman can sing!

I think that it's crap that All-American Rejects won best group video...I mean c'mon "Move Along" wasn't that great. But that's the only thing I saw....I was at a football game. Truthfully, I was more excited about it before it started and now, I don't really care.

it was okay. Justin's performance was great. But Jack's entry into the stage was bit boring. But I saw some little girl from Signs just came up to the stage and dance with fergie, it was hilarous!

i have to say that justin timberlake started the awards off right! i loved his performance, Shakira can not sing but she was sexy with the belly dances, i loved beyonce's performance, T.I. is my favorite rapper but it wasn't that great of a performance, he probably should have performed why u wanna or be a litttle more creative instead, and even tho the treadmills seemed ridiculous i really like it but after that it's now boring me...oh and new host, JACK BLACK!!! NO ONE IS LAUGHING...

stupid. most of the cateogorys concern rap.
mtv is 10000% (yes over 100) obsessed with rap
its time to let go of that so called music genre and get some good songs in!
i feel so bad for those who have to survive the traffic wherever they are shooting this.

The "pre game" show was horrific. It was so boring that I stopped watching even before the actual show started. Can get the highlights online anyway...
