Heating element

It could be the heating element, or the thermostat. On some models of dryers, they come together on the same mounting plate. Check with Sears, or an appliance service company to find out which your dryer takes.

Good Luck!

double check with ksobieraj's idea. Mine stopped drying also, i was all set to buy a new one. The exhaust tubing had lint in it, and it cut down on the flow of air. I took it off the back of the dryer, cleaned it out and it worked like new. saved me a couple of hundred dollars!

Well, as these other folks say, it could be the heating element, or a fuse...

but it could also be set to "Fluff dry," in which case there will be no heat. Switch it back to "delicates" or "High heat" if that's the problem.

Verify you have the selector on a heat setting, not on air fluff. Clean the lint filter.

Our dryer has two fuses at the fuse box... one for the power, and one to heat it... check your fuses.
