I started my period on the 19th of August, it should have been over by about the 26th. But I caught a bad virus and have had fevers, coughing, body aches, etc., for about a week now. Its now almost September, and I'm still bleeding. Yesterday I asked the doc if its normal for a period to last so long and if its cuz I'm sick. He said yeah that can happen. It was really light for the past several days, not even enough to fill a tampon in a whole day. Then my fever spiked to 104 and all of a sudden my bleeding became heavier and fresh looking again. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Nope, but I had the cramps from hell. All I could do was lay in bed with the heating pad.
