If the hurricane really was God's way of punishing all of the drunken debauchery in the French Quarter, then why was the French Quarter one of the least affected areas? Unless you were implying that God is a racist...in that case, you should be ashamed. Not to mention down on your knees praying for forgiveness.

Ummmm...the city was full of sin with all the drinking, sexing and beads. They didn't deserve Hurricane Katrina but it was time for that city to have a new start.

No, the victims did not deserve what they got. Innocent people died along with not so innocent ones. It was a natural disaster, not a punishment from God. It was a chance for the rest of us to reach out and help.
