Is it wrong to...?

Do you people need to be literally prompted that something is a joke or are you smart enough to decifer on your own. As of the recent questions I have posted, some seem to be lacking in their decifering skills. So the question is must I add the words "just kidding" or "Attention: This is a joke!!!"?

Well, since no one can HEAR you saying it, no one can decipher a joke. There is no nuanced language or even body language to give it away.
That's what emoticons and a "just kidding" are for.
Since EVERYONE else doesn't "get" you, and you are the only one who seems to find your jokes funny-- I would say the problem lies with you.

Hmmm. I don't know. I read some of your earlier questions, and I wonder why you would ask some of the things you do if they are jokes.

What you seem to forget when complaining that some don't have a sense of humour is "maybe what you're posting isn't funny?"

If you were legitimately interested in peoples views about "cancer" then I could see the purpose of posting a question asking people for their views. But.....am I pro or con???? A little juvenile, no? And just a tad insensitive. Yes people die of the flu, they also die of paper cuts.....but that doesn't mean we should make light of the pain they or their loved ones have gone thru.

Perhaps if you are trying out some new material for a comedy routine....you should post on a comedy site. Just a thought.

When you ask questions, and you dont type JUST KIDDING what are people supposed to think?
