I define friendship as a friend that you can count on at all times, someone that you can talk to when you have something on your mind, a very down-to-earth person you can always chill with or go out with, a very trustworthy person, someone you can trust with your personal information or drama, and someone that is honest with you at all times because sometimes you can tell your friend something and it gets all over the world and you ask your friend about it and they would be like I don't know what you're talking about. Me personally, I'm really picky when it comes to friendships because I love hanging with "Real" friends, friends that know how to have a good time and friends that can tell you something straight up without even hesitating I don't like friends that is fake and act like they are your friends and then turns around and backstab you....you just have to know who your true friends are and they are really easy to pick out....but people have their own way developing friendships....

Friendship is a relationship between two or more people that includes trust, honesty, loyalty, and love. Friends don't care if the other has lots of money, or good looks, or that they have cool clothes, or a cool car or anything materialistic. Friends are happy for eachother when something good happens and are there for eachother when something bad happens. Friends also know eachother really well..better than most others know that person.

Friendship is when friends can tell anything to each other. Friendship is when you need help, they give it to you. A friend is sort of like a long lost sister you never had. I have great friends. They're all that and even more!

As a joke, people say a friend comes and bails you out of jail, while a best friend is sitting there beside you saying, "That was the best!"

what is friendship. I think it is the ability to overlook your friends shortcomings and faults and love them anyway. To always be there for each other through thick and then. To listen to friends problems no matter how many times you've heard them before. to cry and laugh together and share some wonderful memories. Friendship is wonderful, where would we be without it. Very lonely I think. Good Luck

There's different types of friendships. See which kind you like best, then look for that in people and then you can count them as a friend. Most people would say, trust and honesty, having fun, and sharing something together.

A friend is someone who is still there to hold your hair back while you vomit up all the booze they told you you shouldn't have drunken the night before. They are someone who will stand up in the middle of a group of people who are all bitching about you and say hey you are all wrong.
A true friend doesn't let you get drunk and take home an ugly man! And if you do they don't judge you.
They are someone you can laugh with and cry with.

A friend is someone who knows when you need them. They won't run away from your problems, but they'll tell you when you need to stop sulking and get on with your life. A friend likes you for who you are, not what you have. You can be yourself around a friend. They'll want you do do things you don't want to do sometimes, but that's okay. If they are truly friends, they'll get the hint. With a friend you can share a laugh or a secret. And if they tell that secret...that's okay, too. Because we all make mistakes sometimes.

I could go on forever. But you get the basic idea.

I think friendship (or any meaningful relationship, for that matter) is truly proven in a person's willingness to inconvenience themselves for you. For example, if your best friend was stranded at the airport with no ride home, would you leave work or some other important appointment to pick them up? Obviously, a good friend would go out of their way to help that person.
