It should be close to the Speaker, Reset, and other buttons. It may be labled as PWR on the mother board.

In fact, helixburgers answer is downright dangerous. I wish I could give 3 thumbs-downs.
don't even understand what you are asking
If you look at your motherboard with the keyboard and mouse plug as being in the "upper left hand corner" then the power (+ harddrive led, power led, and sometimes speaker) is USUALLY at the "bottom right" corner.
You should see as was mentioned previously a group of 8, 10, or 12 pins arranged in two rows.
DIfferent motherboard manuals will describe the connecter differently, some will just call it "panel header" or "front connectors" (not to be confused with USB, or AUDIO)

1st, you really need to make sure that the terms you use are very accurate, power button is the 1 on the out side. I think you are looking for the power source that runs every thing to & from the power supply including the restart, on/off button etc... that includes the lights that indicates PC status. For this you MUST have the instructions becasue each one is very different & you want to make sure & NOT burn it. You can find most instructions online from the manufacturer but you need your motherboard & model #

first element i'd do is re-examine the connections of cables etc. ascertain they're wisely plugged in and contained in the right position. Get a can of air and attempt cleansing some extra. Take a q-tip and isopropyl alcohol and sparkling the actual power button interior. If after arduous all the minor stuff, it nevertheless received't artwork, you could truly desire a sparkling MoBo. in case you want to tinker, it can be brilliant to pickup an previous one this is allready broke and dig in.

There should be an array of 8 to 12 pins in the lower right hand corner of the board. They should be a diagram in the manual that shows where the plug is and how the plug should be oriented if it is a single solid piece.

It would be helpfut to know what motherboard you are using. It usually plugs into the motherboard on a header where you also plug in the power led, hard drive led, and reset switch. It should be in the instructions. It might be called the front panel header. It is also usually labeled on the motherboard, but that might be hard to read. It may be abbeviated as pwr.

It would be in the motherboard manual. It would be on the wiring diagram. You might need a magnifying glass. There are pins for the speaker that goes beep, hard drive activity, and power button.

This is the funniest question I read in this site.
i can suggest you something.
you keep the computer where screen will face the surface.
I hope you will see where do you need to plug one side of wire.
If it is about CPU the you should have one wire with holes like
0 (this is in middile)
0 0
and in top of the back of you CPU you can fix it.
Be sure it will not fix another place so dont worry. You see the place like that picture place it there
Dont forget to say thanks
