Try nail polish remover. It sounds crazy, but it works to remove marker from lots of things.

Warning - it might also take off the rest of the color or "melt" the figure, depending on the materials it is made of, so use this idea with caution.

Try this little trick. Take a dry erase marker and color over the permanent marks then wipe off with a cloth dampened with Windex or other window cleaner.

It won't work on all surfaces, but most.

It may not be possible. The only thing I know is that if you get permanent marker on your clothing, hair spray can get it out. You spray it on, rub it in, let it sit for a bit and wash it. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries, but it works pretty well on clothing.

Been There
Done That
Tried Everything

My daughter did that to the whole front of my new white fridge, most of my kitchen cabinets and dining room table.

Tried everything, the ONLY thing I ever found to take it off was
to scrub it with my finger with a little bit of baking powder mixed with a tiny bit of water, just enough to make a paste. Good Luck.
Keep them markers High, high , high!! Just remember 10 years from now, it'll make a funny story. Kids will be kids

First, always start with the least chemical cleaners and work your way up...

If soap and water don't work, try an "orange" or citrus type cleaner. If that doesn't work, try WD-40. Though it is a grease, sometimes it has a tendacy to break down the marker. If THAT doesn't work, try bleach. DO NOT SOAK it in bleach. Take a little bit, and try to clean it. If it doesn't work, buy your kid a new one.

It depends on what he colored on. If it's fabric, get Tide wipe aways or something or other, it's like a little Tide in a pen. Or bleach it. If it's on plastic, then it probably won't come off when it's dried, unless its a crappy permanent marker.

Okay sounds strange but us teachers know the trick. write over the permenant marker with dry erase marker then erase them both together. As long as the action figure is hard plastic it should work. Good luck.

Try WD40:
Spray a little WD40 on it and rub it off with a Qtip where the marker is. It will come off. Don't spray too much or the paint on the wrestling figure will come off too. Wash off the WD40 after your done and and it should be ok.

put alcohol on cotton and wipe the permanent marker. if it does not come out you can also use a nail polish remover.

Acetate or rubbing alcohol will remove some permanent marker writing.
