What could you not like from Janis- she was great ! Kozmic Blues - Mercedes Benz - Down on Me - One Good Man - Try - Ball and Chain - Half Moon to name a few. Favorite one is Piece of My Heart.

I used to be a real big fan. My favorite record is her Kosmic Blues album. I am thinking of getting it on CD from Amazon. Favorite songs include Try, Ball & Chain, To Love Somebody, Summertime, Get It While You Can, Maybe, and many more. Maybe may be (sorry, didn't mean to do that but...) my favorite song.
You ought to get a Greatest Hits or a Best Of compilation of her.

I liked the way she did "Summertime" the best .
"Ball and Chain ";& " I need a man to love ." are some others .
Bobby Mc Gee was a favorite of mine, too.
