use sandpaper with 180 grit or less... or just buy the pre frayed ones

Try a piece of rough sand paper and rub it on the edge of the bill. This should weaken the seams and you should be on your way to frayed threads on your cap!

take it and roughly rub a brick or rock along the edge...may even work better if you get the part damp that you want frayed before rubbing to make it weaker.

You can take a ruler or any flat sided object and keep going back and forth until it frays.

Got a quarter? Rub it (the outside of it) real hard around the side of the rim. Not kidding. Do it artfully and no one will know you did it instead of whatever overpaid designer they thought did it.

i dont know why you would want to do that,.... but the easiest way is to just get a razor blade, go back and forth on the edge, throw it in the dryer. vwalah. same goes with jeans
