I have custody of the kids. He hasn't seen them in 18 months plus.

The last time he called he was still asking me to be with him. He hung up on our son and didn't even talk to our daughter when she was screaming to talk to him. They don't know him. Kids are almost 4 and 2 1/2

Your ex-husband is still the father to your children, If you do not allow him to be in contact with the children then your children may resent you for that in the future. If you allow contact and he still has nothing to do with the children then he will lose in the end. Your divorce should state that he should be able to get a hold of the children, unless he has done something and there is a restraining order..

It depends on your reasoning for not wanting to give him your number, if it's for your own protection then maybe you shouldnt but if it's just because you feel like youre divorced and dont want nothing to do with him, then definetly not, if it's possible your children should still have the chance to have a relationship with him seeing as he is the father...

not unless he has visitation or custody rights, then you might have to give him the number. Check with your lawyer to know for sure

Yes!!!!!!! Don't seceretly be the REASON your ex is not calling his kids. What are you going to tell them? 'I don't know why your daddys not calling you. I gave him the number!' For the kids sake.

You should encourage your children to talk to him on the phone and give him your number so he can call them. They are his children to.

that's really up to the courts! if he's an abusive father .. definitely NOT.. If he's a good father but you just don't get along with him.. then it's very wrong of you to deny him access.

I am afraid that you must give him your number - even if he isn't visiting the kids. It's one of those pesky legal details.
