Mine would have to be Brief Encounter (starring Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard), Hold Back the Dawn (starring Charles Boyer and Olivia deHavilland), and Female on the Beach (starring Joan Crawford and Jeff Chandler).

you've definitely got to see "An Affair To Remember" with Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant. See if you can rent it at the store. It is the most beautiful love story I have ever watched. It has everything: first romance, joy, pathos, misunderstandings and finally a terrific ending. Its an old movie that will never get old. Please watch it and have a box of kleenex nearby. Good Luck
