When getting wisdom teeth pulled out is it better to go completely under or just the regular gas stuff? I think im gonna have to have 2 cut out and the other 2 pulled out. What do u think is the best way to go?

I have to have all four out at once. Does anyone know about how much going completely under would cost or is it different everywhere?

When I had my four impacted wisdom teeth removed, I got IV Valium; it was great! The guy could have just slapped me the whole time and I would have thought it was funny! I still remember it pretty well and it was great. I got a bunch of Vicadins afterward just in case it hurt, but I only took a couple.
A week later a friend of mine brought fresh pineapple from Hawaii; man it tasted great except for that taste...what was it...oh, blood. Yes, the pineapple was acidic enough to open the wounds a little, so be careful with acidic food for a couple of weeks.
Get Valium if you can; it was awesome. I was kind of awake, in and out and had NO sense of time at all.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out last year and I went the route of going to a dentist who was also an oral surgeon. All of my wisdom teeth were impacted and had to be cut out and the dentist just injected the numbing medicine into my gums, let it take effect, then cut mine out. It wasn't bad, as all I had to recover from afterward was the surgery and not the anesthesia.

I had all four out at one time. The reason is because i knew that i would not want to come back to get the other two out. I also went completely under i was more comfortable with that.

I remember my sistser telling me that she was very numb after her wisdom teeth were pulled. For me I would say the regular gas stuff is enough because I visit the dentist all the time. I actually start to enjoy pain... .yes strange. Anyways wahts more important is eating a nice meal before going cause you can't enjoy food after this for awhile.

the doctor will do what he thinks is best and thats usually to put you under, i had that done and you wake up never knowing what happened, however in about two hours you feel like you were hit by a train. it takes about 3 days to feel human again.

Go with the local - less chance of getting vomit on yourself that way.
