A real woman would go over and ask him what was wrong and just hold him and let him sob. Men are sensitive too. why is it that men dont think they are allowed to cry. i would rather see a mans sensitive side rather than see him be tough alllll the time, we know men have feelings too and there is nothing wrong with letting it show.

This woman is a sucker for someone in pain. I would have to hold him and tell him that I still love him and that I will be there to help however I can. Then I would try to get him to voice some of his thoughts and why he felt so down. I would remind him that we are in this together and with both of us working on the problems, we can beat anything.

I would freak out. I hardly see my husband cry so if he was sobbing alone, I would know something is VERY wrong. And if my husband does cry, I cry. Even if I didn't know why he was crying, I would probably start balling my eyes out too. I don't like to know my husband is upset, that alone upsets me.

Well, you need to give us some more information about the cause of his distress. Did his mom just die? Or has he just been without his crank for a couple of days? The answers to even those two possibilites would be vastly different and polar opposites.

I would get out my winter coat because hell would have frozen over.

I think what I would do would depend on the circumstances, and you did not provide any. Sometimes men, especially if they cry, do not want an audience or a hug.

I would be so thrilled that he was getting it out (finally) and I would lay there next to him if he wanted me too or I would leave him alone if he wanted me to...I would also make some good comfort food. Chances are something big happened so he needs it.

First of all what are the events preceding this? Comfort him. Get him to talk. Call your family doctor or crisis centre, he may be depressed. He may need professional help. Let him know that you are there for him, no matter what.

any woman who truly cared about her husband would comfort him until he settled down and than sit and talk about the problem and try to find a solution that would make things more tolerable I know myself it breaks my heart to see my husband cry

by going over to him and put his head in your lap and ask him what is wrong and if he is to emotional to talk then cry with your husband and tell him you feel his pain and you will wait for him to talk to you when he feel like it and tell him you are there for him and you love him unconditionaly and that you'll can work thru it together good luck PS: i love a man who not afraid to express his emotion by crying
