I don't think so, I wouldn't be turned off if my bf cried in front of me. Crying is a human act, it's nothing to be ashamed about. It's okay to cry :)

It totally depends on the situation. If a man cries on small matters then yes it turns me off. but if its a genuine reason and he rarely cries then no because crying is a part of human nature.

Sometimes I get irritated if a man cries in front of me. I guess it depends on why he is upset. Grieving and loss is understandable. But if his feelings are hurt, I get a little bit less than patient. I realize that its an unfair stereotype but that is just the way I am. I am a cry baby myself at times.

i don't really think they get turned off. Crying for a man is a sure sign of his sensitive side and having a bf who has that quality is very good. Most boys as they grow up are told "do not cry, crying is for girls", that is so NOT TRUE.I always taught my 2 sons that crying was good. and i am proud to say that they are very caring and sensitive men and my daughters-in-law love the way they are. Good Luck

Some are. Some aren't. I think it depends on what you are crying about and whether the way you are crying is appropriate for the reason. Some people were brought up believing men aren't supposed to show emotions, so they decide they shouldn't. I personally don't like a man to hide his feelings.

Oh my god, I am soooo not! I feel compassion and trust when my boyfriend cries in front of me. If you really open up to someone, they have to respect that and if they don't you shouldn't be with them.
I think crying is natural for guys, they just choose to hide their feelings and sooner or later it will come out.

ok if they are crying becaue of a death or something important, i.e. divorce, sickness in the family..... then it is perfectly acceptable and definitely not a turnoff
but if you are crying because you dont get your way.... i.e. someone doesnt want to take you hunting because you need to go to school and you start bawling like a 2 year old then yea that would be a definite turn OFF!!!

Depends on the situation. I had this one bf who cried in front of me all the time and it was just ridiculous. I mean seriously, I don't even cry that much!

I don't like to see my boyfriend cry (which is very rare), because I like to think he is emotionally strong which makes me feel safer and more secure with our relationship. I don't mind if he cries if he does it somewhere away from me so I won't know about it.
