We share joint custody of our child. I have health ins. on the child thru my job. She still uses medicaid. I heard that they can come back on me for charges made thru medicaid even though I have ins. on the child. I heard they can make me pay back all the charges made. What do I do without getting caught reporting this and not taking the blame or having to pay back money to the state for charges I didnt make?

I have run across this several times with my job. Call your local Medicaid office. They love getting this type of information (as do the judges in child custody cases).

Send letters signed "Concerned Citizen" to the Medicaid office, the District Attorney's office and the state Attorney General's office.

Simply call the welfare office and inform them you have insurance on the child. It will then be between Medicaid and the insurance company to sort it all out. You did your duty by informing them of it. Simply tell them you let them know as soon as you found out.

File the case in the police headquarters or court nearest your residence.
