Talk with a GYN, they will probably prescibe birth control to make your periods regular. Good luck.

I don't know how old you are, but when i was a teenager i had to be put on birth control to make my periods regular. They were way different from month to month and sometimes lasted for weeks. I also had severe cramps. You should talk to a gynecologist and find out if there is something wrong. My mother has endometrosis and she also has very long periods. She is having a hysterectomy soon. It could be something simple or it could be something you should really have checked out. Good luck, hon! I feel sorry for you.

You could have ovarian cysts in your uterus that need to come out. This can cause a lot of heavy bleeding.
When this happened to a friend of mine, she had the surgery to take out the cyst, and then they did a D and C. It is a simple procedure and you should be able to go home the same day. You will still bleed for a few days, perhaps, but the problem will be solved. First they will have to do an ultrasound to determine if this is what it really is or not...

Your doctor can put you on birth control for about 10 days to regulate your period.

i would talk to your ob/gyn . see if there is something that is causing this to happen. my friend wouldnt have hers for months at a time and then she would have it for weeks. it caused her to be sick and she had to have some kind of operation...not sure what on, but to be one the safe side, check with your doctor.
