Hot and humid in the Summer. Mild in the Spring and Fall. Cool to sometimes cold in the Winter. I live half way between Raleigh and the coast and the temp varies. The weather changes often also. It seems that if you head west in NC they tend to get more rain like in the Piedmont. In the Coastal Plain it's green and full of trees, tobacco fields, hog farms, cotton fields, peanut fields, and urban sprawl has taken over a lot of the area. In 15 years I have seen the population of the area increase tremendously.
Alot of people from all over the world have started to settle here. T

While North Carolina is located in a warm temperate zone, its diverse regions can experience a great variety of weather conditions. While locations in the mountains may see average temperatures of 30 degrees Fahrenheit in January and 65 degrees Fahrenheit in August, locations in the coastal plains can often experience January averages in the mid 40's and August averages in the 90's. The state averages 44 inches of rainfall each year, and 5 inches of snow.

It definitely depends on which part of the state you live in. The East is hot in the summer and somewhat humid, with fairly mild winters. The western part of the state, however, is mountainous, a bit cooler in the summer and can be harsher in the winter. I think it's a lovely state...the beaches in the East are very nice, and the Smokey mountains in the West are absolutely breathtaking.

Depends.

Is a Marine unit training right now? Then it's raining.

Did a Marine get in trouble? Then it's a beautiful day.

Is it payday? Then it's hot enough to make money spontaneously combust, burning a hole in your pocket.

Is it no where near payday? Then it's perfect weather for everything that costs more money then I have.

Is it a blissful utopia with singing birds and smiling people? Then call me, I'm home on leave.

I've only been there once but it's usually warm all the time, if they get a bit of snow it's not much and the whole place shuts down. They're usually very hot and humid :)

Rain, sun shine, wind, clouds. Its wet when it rains and dry when the sun is out. There is air there and it has some ground that has rocks and dirt. Trees and lakes and rivers. It has buildings, homes and apartments and listen to this people lives in the homes and apartments. Go figure that.
