Many back in the 60s against the Vietnam war. Also 1 against wearing fur. 1 against the world trade organization. Looking forward to more when we get sick enough of this war and this government to go back to the streets and object to all of the **** that is happening these days. Can't think of a time when there was more to protest against.

I have been to many protest rallies for and against war, gay marriages and so forth. I like to see both points of view. My friend and I had a anti toaster poster at a rally for some reason. The reason we did this is sometimes protesting really is pointless. I think the best protest are in SF.

I have been to a rally (I would not really call it a protest) It was in support of our military members. Being a veteran and wife of an Air Force Reservist whom went to Kuwait... my family really needed to be around people who supported us! It was wonderful and very patriotic! I was in Boston when a large, very unorganized "Peace Protest" was marching down the street (near Government Center) I saw "Free Tibet", free someone I did not know, little inexperienced college kids (spouting their professors words)... like no war for oil and lets talk (right sure... if they were human) one little very cute girl-child actually laid herself at my feet, in the middle of the road and stated that she represented all the dying members of the US armed forces.... she remains unharmed, because my husband is quick and caught me before I could educate her on her misconceptions!
Now the sad part.... the only American flags that were present were those on the Government Center square, one proudly waved by a veteran that was protesting the protesters and those that were represented on the 911 memorial that the carnival was walking by

specific I went to the "end the Fed" rally in Dallas TX in Nov. and that comparable day became the anniversary of the JFK homicide. I surpassed out DVD's and Newspapers on the JFK. Then walked some blocks to the tip the Fed rally the place Alex Jones became filming his new action picture that in basic terms got here out referred to as the Obama Deception. Coolest section became that he surpassed me the bullhorn. Its time for what i like to call "lukewarm Libertarians" to get off the sidelines and into the sport. 3% % the country began the Revolution on the founding of this united states. "interior the start of a transformation the patriot is a scarce guy, and brave, and hated and scorned. while his reason succeeds, the timid connect him, for then it expenses no longer something to be a patriot." -Mark Twain

In my freshman year in college, I was part of a massive "die-in" protesting military involvement in Nicaragua, or was it El Salvador....anyway, there were about 30 of us who stood on opposite corners of a busy city intersection, and right at noon we all "died" and lay there for about 5 minutes. It was my first -- and only -- foray into street theater. And damned if I know what ever came of it!

Many rallys and marches: Against the war, the punitive treatment of illegal aliens, Calif. governor's attack against teachers, fire & police, public workers, Bush's proposed Social Security takeaways & medicare changes, lack of movement on various contracts, unfair treatment of various groups of workers, etc.

Ran one once. It was to protest the evil sexism which means most divorced fathers, though good enough to send lots of money to the fiend who hides their kids from them, aren't good enough to see their kids on Christmas.

I got state wide publicity, but there weren't many men there. Most men in this country are really limp-wristed wimps afraid to stand up for their rights, but are good at whining and bellyaching.
