halo is an original creation.... now i hear there is going to be a halo movie soon.,.....

I don't think it was based upon any one movie- it was mostly an original creation. Sure there's some influence from Aliens and Starship Troopers, but the story is completely different- mostly universal sci-fi themes were borrowed to create it....

sorry to say it but this is a stupid question a game isn't nesisarlily based on anything but the creativity of whoever started it all
