My son was a real cute kid and is a real hunk now. I was a ugly duckling and am considered a 'pretty swan' now. I think it does not hold true, it is an individual case....

No-how could that be true . I've seen pictures of really cute kids and they grew up to be attractive /handsome and the kids who weren';t exactly beauties had something that just matured into being attractive. The really unattractive kids sometimes turn into goodlokking adults and then also not depends on the basic features and so forth.

Yes, actually it's not just a myth. Look at any pictures. Of course we are talking about "MOST", that is not to say that ALL ugly people grow up to be beautiful. Most don't. Same with beautiful people who can stay so; but beauty is indefinite and it fades away with age on all of us.

well, maybe most cute kids think they're so pretty they don't need to exercise and eat healthy and so they slack off and become ugly.
but anyone who takes care of themselves will look good.
between the two of us, though, everyone in my family was pretty kids and look at us now. *sigh* nature. it's always so annoying.
