Yeah Clinque is really nice. I would go with Almay before mary kay or Avon. Those 2 sales ones are too full of junk and scents that they are very irritating. Clinique is best however. They can explain them well the colors are good and they are not irritating. The products are great and they are not tested on animals. My dermatologist likes them. I am always disapointed when I try other makeup. I may use other skincare products, but not makeup. I never use mary kay or avon. It is too toxic. I use natural products or high end stuff from sephora.

I'm a Clinique woman myself. I tried that Bare Minerals stuff and I had THE WORST reaction to it!

Clinique seems to be the easiest on the skin and it doesn't smell like anything. The colors are great too. I've been using it since 1992. So, though I don't wear a lot of make-up...I do spend the extra money on what I do wear. It's worth it.

When I was a teenager I had acne really bad. I tried covering it up with store bought makeup. It helped hide the acne, but it didn't help it any either. When I got my first "real" job at 18 and had a little extra cash, I bought Merl Norman (do they exist anymore?) The difference was unbelievable!! With GOOD makeup and using their cleansers, not only did my makeup look better, but my acne disappeared! It was worth every penny to buy the more expense brand. A few years later I tried Mary Kay, and it was great, too.

I think that which makeup you prefer depends on your skin. Some people can use anything, other people can only use specific brands. Personally, I use Mary Kay & Dove. It's all trial and error. At least with Mary Kay, you can return a product your not happy with for any reason.

Clinique for the foundation. Cover girl blush lasts the longest. Revlon lipsticks.

There is certainly a difference. I have very sensitive skin so I have to stick with Almay and Nutragina type brands. Mary Kay is too heavy and has caused me to break out.

All makeup is not the same. Drugstore makeup has added oils that damage and alter facial skin. I prefer things that are oil free so they don't clog my pores.

Lancome (foundation and powder), Nars (blush), Stila (eyeliner), MAC (eyeshadow), others include Chanel, Benefit, Victoria's Secret

No not all makeup is the same. A lot of it fades faster than your more expensive brands and the more expensive brands have less chemicals than the cheaper brands.

I don't use just one makeup line, it's a hodgepodge. Find favorites through the years and try new things. Sometimes the cheap such works just as well as the expensive.
