He died on Wednesday, 8/30, in Los Angeles. Ford had suffered a series of strokes over the last ten years and was in failing health. He was 90.
His film career spanned from 1937 to 1991 with over 100 roles to his credit with his best known modern role being the adoptive father of Clark Kent in 1978 movie "Superman" and Rear Admiral Raymond Spruance in "Midway". My favorite movie though was "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" in which he played the lead.

Yes he did die, not sure if it was today or yesterday though. They found his body today.

Yesterday. They found him in his home dead. I think he was in his 90s.
