I have used this method for years, and my grandmother also used it.....20 Mule Team Laundry soap, about three bucks a box. well i use a mixure of stuff. it works really good. another thing is foam noxema......it kills ants like nothing. don't think i'm kidding i've experminted on tons of stuff to get rid of those ants, and i found out....you can make the anti-dope yourself!! plus it's fun!!
