I'm looking for strips of regular cardboard, approximately 1/4" wide (but can vary). I don't want to have to cut them myself, as they need to be neat and presentable (they are for an architecture model). Does anyone know a supplier of such a product?

what u need is cardboard tack stripping. Find someplace that sells furniture re-uphostering supplies (hardware store? Fabric store? I don't know). I think it's exactly what u described, on a big roll.

Isthmus is authentic, until eventually your speaking about a strip of sedimentary cloth between 2 islands, typically referred to as a tombolo. Causeways are guy-made, or are named with a view to allude to being guy-made such as the great's Causeway (which does no longer connect).
