...if Israel vanished? Because I keep hearing this implied from comments made by liberals. Do they actually realize what it is that they are saying?

Why, do you think israel deserves to remain eternal over all other nations? What if you heard this from a conservative would it change anything? Lets remove israel from existance and then count how many people that define themselves as liberal think it is a better place! If your still alive you can ask them what they think they are saying and see if it's any different from what you realize your saying!

I think you're interpreting people's comments through your own filter. I'd be interested in seeing some direct quote where somebody who is self-identified as a liberal said anything about Israel vanishing.

Personally I think that the world would be a better place if the ENTIRE Middle East EXCEPT for Isreal disappeared.
I really don't think that the Isrealies walk around going who are we going to attack today. They don't start anything but they sure as hell finish it. The 6-day War ring any bells?
