6 to 7 or 6:7. 2 3 5 7 11 13 are all prime. there are 6 prime. 4 6 8 9 10 12 14 are all composite. there are 7 prime. there are 6 against 7. hope i helped.

2-14 is 12 numbers
how many of these numbers are prime?
3, 5, 7, 11, and 13 right?
so 5/12 is the odds of you picking a prime number. 5:12

Odds and probability are NOT the same thing. Odds is the ratio of P(S)/P(F). [Probability of success over probability of failure]

In this case the probability of success is 6/13 (6 primes out of 13 numbers). The probability of failure is 7/13. (7 non-primes out of 13 numbers) Putting those two probabilities in ratio form and simplifying gives the ODDS of 6/7

toatl no of slip od papers = 13
Total no of slip of papers containing prime number = 6
Probability of picking a prime number = 6/13
