me and my fiancee have already choose an engagement ring its just that he always surprise me with so much things that i want to give him an engraved ring for him. any suggestions guys what kind of rings you like? or any ladys any experience with your guy's prefered rings?

Silver will tarnish of you don't take care of it. If it is rhodium plated it should not.
Go to overstock.com and look at titanium rings for men. They are very stylish and will last forever.

I used to like silver when I was young, now everywhere and everyone wears silver. Its very hard to even find anything NOT silver anymore.
Go figure, I like gold now. :P

Sterling silver is my fav. If it gets dirty a little vinager and baking soda will clean it up perfect.
