If its 2 men fighting then you might just want to call the police. Do the same if its 2 women. Getting between either one could get you hurt bad. If its a 2 or more on 1 situation then its a judgement call on your part, but try to call the police before making a decision. Now if its a man beating a women then by all means pound his head until its soft and mushy. Then call the police.

Is a drug dealer involved?

Drug dealers are notorious for killing people who reported them to the police. I'm not saying don't report him - just BE CAREFUL about WHO KNOWS you reported him. One of my friends was killed by a drug dealer.

In my apartment complex - there have been drug dealers, gang members, pimps, hookers, crack addicts, and some real crazy people who could have been on the Jerry Springer show. Witness a crime? Hell! I watched many a drug deal go down, right outside my bedroom window. Did I get involved? Or call the police? NO.

I just mind my own business.

Getting the cops involved can get you dead.

The drug dealers will leave you alone if you don't mess with them. You don't mess with them? And they won't mess with you.

The gang members didn't mess with me anymore, after I made friends with one of them - and fed him chicken. He was locked out of his apartment, so I told him to come over to my place and eat dinner.

After that? I COULD WALK ON WATER as far as these gang members were concerned. None of them ever messed with me again. And when some of them wanted to? That one gang member I befriended would jump in and say: No man! THAT'S the one that fed me chicken! Don't mess with HIM! :)))))))

That leaves the crack heads and crazies. And for them? I don't say a word - but I have a witness. It's an EAA 9mm Witness. I just make sure I'm SEEN cleaning my gun. I never have a problem with them after that.

But don't limit yourself to guns.

As the saying goes . . .

"If your only tool is a hammer, then every problem becomes a nail."

I can use a pair of nunchucks myself.

When I can afford it, I ALSO plan on getting a taser.

And even though it's considered a "girl's" weapon? It doesn't bother me one bit to mace somebody.

Just be smart about what situation you use what weapon in. And never pull a weapon on somebody that you are unprepared - or unwilling - to use.

get away and call the cops. Then watch at a safe distance until the cops get there, this way you can make sure of what is happening the entire time, and if necessary, you can keep the cops updated. Like if an ambulance is necessary or soemone has been killed, or they're gettin away then you can get the license plate number.

You do the right thing and call the persons who are paid to do the job. If you can stop it with out get hurt (IF) but remember you have a family to go home to. and if you get hurt who will support your family or pay the medical bills for you. you watch and see who the bad guys are call the police and then help the person in need.

Call the police. Observe if you can't help. If you can safely do it, yell that you are calling the police. It might save a person's life. If you can't, don't.

Our system of justice works because citizens will get involved. In third world countries, they don't.

If you witness a crime, you should report it as soon as you can. If you do nothing, you are an accessory after the fact. You may even be aiding and abetting a criminal.

I think the outcome would have to do with the crime...
If it was something dangerous, or hurtfull to anyones property, you should tell someone.
I would like to know that someone was got caught for stealing my brand new hedge clipper last summer!!!!
