No, I think that the US will maintain amicable terms with China in the future; the Chinese government relies too much on the United States for its economy.

no. China has no history of imperialism except against Tibet and Vietnam. The only place it might invade is Taiwan. Seems under the presnt regime though that China is much more interested in making money. My forecast is that by 2025 China and Tibet will both be free countries without communism. China will be centralist like Singapore but democratic.

Invade WHAT? They tried invading Vietnam in 1980s, twice, and got beaten back both times.

Also, China is not really a country, it is a subcontinent, somewhat akin to India under the British rule, which included what we today know as Pakistan and Bangladesh. Politically unified China, if you look at history, is an exception, not a rule; it always falls apart sooner or later...

No. One with a clear mind would recognize that China nowadays focuses more on economic development than war (or to be exact the war of ideology). With 1.3 billion mouths to feed, China would be busy fighting poverty, illiteracy and the likes.

If you take a closer look, wars involving China, be it civil wars or wars with other nations, were about ideology. With China embracing capitalism at such a pace, there's no purpose of going to war on ideology.

Besides, why bother with China while you already have a nation currently toppling regimes here and there and station the most troops in every continent and spying on every nation with their satellites? And yes, this nation does it with out-dated maps (for bombing), doctored intelligence documents (on WMD) and lies (for all the rest).

The chinese will invade everywhere, taiwan (to take it back), Japan to get revenge from world war two, got into vienam in the 80's to show the big brother Soviet Union it dared to beat its little brother. Standed up to the US in north korea in korean war. so they charllenged the two super power and havent lost. They will come if Bush find the WMD in Iraq and will use the WMD on Japan.

They wont invade militarily.....I dont see why they would..it looked like they would go for Taiwan there for a while and that might drag in the US, but recently the US isnt so buddy buddy with Taiwan....I dont see it in the next 15 years, after that, who can read tea leaves?

No need to... they already have America supporting thier communist government. Why upset a good thing?
We send them money. They beat the living sheet out of anyone that says communism is bad. Life is good if you're the one in control.
