About two years ago I was dumb enough to try rock climbing with my macho brothers. When a rock slide stranded me on a ledge, I thought I was going to die. And as the bad weather set in, I almost did. All that saved me was a rescue guy who risked his life climbing down to save me. He was simply gorgeous. Even as weak as I was, when his eyes met mine, it was magic. I stayed with him for the next two weeks until I had to go home. After that, we saw each other every chance we could until he finally asked me to marry him and move out to the mountains. I said yes. On the night he asked me, we were slow dancing in a little roadside bar in the Rockies. The jukebox was playing this funky old song by Bette Miller called "The Rose". The very next day, there was an emergency on the mountain. He went up in a helicopter and was killed. I scattered his ashes in the valley he loved so much. I have never dated anyone since. I never will. And when ever I hear that song, I just go to pieces.

I like "Just The Way You Are" by Billy Joel. This will be the song my fiance and I will have our first dance to when we wed.
But there is also another song that lasts for like 49 seconds or something like that by Harry Chapin. It is called "The Shortest Story" and dam it blows me away every time I hear it. Have to light a smoke immediately so can blame the tears on smoke getting in eyes rather than on lyrics.

Tyler - Toadies, Ghost of You - My Chemical Romance, Mysterions and Glory Box - Portishead, and most definitely is Passenger - Deftones.
I agree with Hurt too, but I dig the Johnny Cash version.

" Only the Young " by Journey, my favorite song of all time! Also probably " We Are the Champions" by Queen, " Home Sweet Home " by Motley Crue, and " How Deep is Your Love " by the Bee Gee's. Let's throw in " Forever and For Always " by Shania Twain. How's that for variety?
