Lets see 1. cover your mouth when you cough dont be around other people and cough on them or on a common surface wash your hands with soap and water verry frequently the best OTC ( over the counter available with a prescription ) is go to you health food store and get the following 1. colloidal silver 2. chineese green tea 3 Pau D" Arco tea you do know how to make tea boil water put teabags one each in a teacup or disposable styrofoam cup pour hot water on them leet them set for 5 minutes then drink it all immediately the silver pour a small amount 1/2 ounce or so in a small medicine cup pour it in your mouth swish it around like mouth wash the tilt you head back dont swallow it and blow air up from lungs for 30 seconds then swallow repeat 2-3 x daily same with tea also take your vitamins particullarly C and E some chicken noodle soup and OJ not at the same time and by all means drink lots of water take you body weight divide by 1/2 and drink that much water daily and all will be well in no time o.k. hope you feel better GorbalizerI

If you have a germ in your throat, you need to kill it in order to keep it from spreading. You could try an herbal tinture called Usnea. Usnea is a mold which grows in stalks on certain trees; however, it is used for sore throats and upper respiratory problems. I lost my voice for 4 days (no cough medicine helped), I put a couple dropper fulls of Usnea in the back of my throat and instantly got my voice back.

If someone else has the germ, try colloidal silver; spray it over eyes, ears, throat and nose. This will kill the germ (especially good if someone coughs in your face, the spray the silver in the germ-sprayed air).
