I gave out harmonicas to the vagrants around my office.
My thinking is they will do better and possibly entertain people.

How much did they cost? How many did you hand out? One would have been enough. I can't imagine everyone playing harmonica's all over the streets. Food or drink (not alcohol) might have been kinder. They can't eat harmonica's. Why did you come up with that idea? Are you musical? I agree music can cheer people up but so would a full stomach.

I believe they will sell the harmonicas, and then buy some booze, then, they will go back to you and ask for another harmonicas. It's like a cycle. Maybe ask them what they want before you give something.

I hope you don't have to work nearby. the noise could be worse than their smell. Right now, I'm not very sympathetic to vagrants. Last Christmas, I bought several books of McD's gift coupons and handed them out to the panhandlers asking for money. I thought that what they really needed was food, not money to buy more alcohol. One had the nerve to curse me and tear the coupon up right in front of me.

That's Great when they sit down in the alley for Happy hour they will have music and entertainment
How about talking to these people and trying to help them with food and cloths and just being someone that really do,s give a damn about them

Well, it sounds cool. They do say, people who play a musical instrument are smarter. It might brighten the place and hopefully help everybody be more productive. Sounds cool! I want one too!
