At first, I changed jobs - FREQUENTLY - looking for a job I liked. It took me years (I finally got it when I got a college degree, before I was trying to get it WITHOUT a college degree, with NO luck!). Once I got exactly what I wanted; an office with a view, I stayed.

20 years to date. Plan on working 30 more. The view is great!
Lake, swaying palm trees. That is all I wanted in a job, and I got it.

I love my current job. I'm an engineer at a food manufacturer. I've only been there for a year but I am planning on staying here for a long time.

It's challenging. Every day is different, and every day will be different in the future.

My boss is awesome. He is not a micromanager.

I get to look at nice looking men all day (that's a perk).

I get to eat good product whenever I want (another perk).

No stress, after 31 years retired and never have to work again. Got my kids through college and didn't have beat the street looking for a job every year or two followed by unemployment after 50 like so many.

Yes, it was the right thing for US.

I actually like most of the people that I work with, I can dress casually (jeans) most of the time (in an office) and I like the diversity of the job. Otherwise I would have quit a long time ago.

I get to drive on the wrong side of the road!!!! I am also an adrenaline junkie... oh and I get to help people. Except, the pay sucks and the policies are worse. So it must be the driving on the wrong side of the road part.

I just found a job that I really enjoy. If you don't wake up each morning regretting that you have to go to work, your attitude and performance will be reflected.
