Generally speaking it is positive. All experiences are positive even the bad/ harmful ones. It's how we develop into whatever we are. Experience is essential to our lives and drugs are an experience. For me it was one of the most interesting experiences I have ever had, For others it could be a nightmare. Nonetheless on the grand scale it is positive for society. If anything surely people would be to out of it to declare war.

It depends on what you have to work with in the first place. Some of the most beautiful things I ever experienced and some of the ugliest. Most beautiful I went horse back riding in a forest early in the morning after an ice storm and all the trees were covered with ice they were sparkling and the ice made a tinkling sound. The sound of their hoofs hitting the forest flood and when they snorted the steam swirled from their nostrils in a magical way.
No one else mentioned it so I will but sex was..........well a very good experience!!

In my town LSD is lake shore drive.
As for the chemical, lysergic acid diethalymide is quite an experience and I believe it depends on your environment and if you have other chemicals in your system. I usually did it on a empty stomach or only drinking. If you can find a reliable source for clean LSD. I would try it after a day of fasting and only drink your choice alcohol free beverage once the journey begins.

It was a powerful drug, but the experience was totaly awesome, three days of colors, halucagenics, and just plain trippin. Music was best when on acid, but colors and images were really stoney too. I wish I could find some more, and I never had a bad trip

When LSD was outlawed we lost a great resource for dealing with Medical issues as well as a mind expanding drug. People should be allowed to decide what they do with their bodies and their minds. But for LSD we would not have the computer technology we have today. Government interferes too much.

My friend and I were given some w/out our knowledge by a girl we met in the Haight-Ashbury District of SF in the 60s. Because our experiences were unpleasant and we had to basically figure out what had happened to us, I'd say it was a bad thing.

I know from "experience" that my art work was rather mundane and boring before I took my first trip without leaving the farm.
Now everyone says it has grown in leaps and bounds and sometimes has a "magical" quality.
