if she lives there too, and owns the house, and the son is paying rent to stay there, it is still her house and her abode, so she has the right. if the son lives in her house and pays rent like a tenant, while she lives somewhere else, she can't tell him who can be in the house or not. he is a tenant. of course legally, it might depend on if there is a written lease with rules. if not, it's all a family argument anyway.

Yes, she is your landlord, whether she is your mom or not. If this person isn't on the lease/rental agreement she has every right to prevent them from living there. However, there are laws and procedures that she needs to go through to properly evict someone. Because you are allowing this other person to cohabitate with you, your mom could also evict you if she chooses.
If you don't like the way your landlord manages the property, you can find another place to live.

Well it depends who the person was and the reason why she kicked this person out. If it was because he was doing something bad then hell yeah, shes a parent. Parents do what's best for their kids. Most of the time they are right.

Yes because she is like the landlord, so the son must still abide by her rules and regulations although he pays. he pays for the houses amenities.

If your name is not on the rental agreement or mortgage. Yes she can. Sounds like you pay rent to your mom, but it's her place. So if that's the case, yes she can.

You are being a little vague here. Who owns the house? Is there a lease? Also, it depends on what state you live in?
