Don't do it...if he says no then go with his wishes... maybe do a candlelight Supper..just you and him..surprise him with a goldpocket watch...with an engraving of how much you care for him or you will be glad when you are joined together as one..So, just think it over..and go with your gut feelings..
Good luck..

If he doesn't want a party, how about inviting a few friends out for dinner? In this way the birthday is still celebrated and he won't feel uncomfortable with all kinds of people about.
Go to a restaurant he likes, pay for his dinner and drinks. Have a cake ready! You don't have to draw attention by singing happy birthday, but everyone can have a slice and salute the guest of honor.
You could also specify if presents are to be given. Maybe just come for dinner, drinks and dessert. Have a good time!

I wouldn't throw a party as you already asked him that and he said no. I would make reservations at a hotel, make reservations at a place to eat, and purchase a gift. Pack some overnight clothing for the both or you with toiletries. If that doesn't do it for him then next year throw the party against his wishes lol

You would do better to take him out to dinner and buy him something special. If he really doesn't want a party then throwing him a party will make him upset.

well there are two decisions if he doesn't like having B-day parties don't do one because maybe at the end he will make a big fuss about it
or if the lucky guy takes it easy he would probably think of his fiancee throwing him a B-day party as for her caring about him and wants him to know that hes not alone ♥

Many people just don't like big to-dos, especially when they're the center of attention and have to pretend they're enjoying it even if they don't. Why don't you propose something smaller, like dinner with a few friends, or even just you two? Either go out somewhere special, or if you cook consider doing it yourself.

NO DONT GIVE HIM ONE....SOME GUYS DONT LIKE THE FUSS AND THEN AFTER ALL YOUR RUNNING AROUND THEY ARE NOT AT EASE , BECAUSE ALTHOUGH YOU WANTED TO CELEBRATE HIM...HE WOULD PROBABLY BE MORE CONTENT TO GO TO DINNER WITH JUST THE TWO OF YOU... DID IT SORRY I BOTHERED.
