I need to know what size clothes a friend wears, but she won't tell anyone. I know what she weighs and how tall she is, though (weird, eh?) She's 5ft 7 1/2 in and she's 138 LB (at least that's what she said). Clothing is my only option for a present right now (don't ask why) and I need to know the size (in the US) thanks!

the safest choice would be a medium. if you're not too shy, if you see someone in the same store you are and that is about the same size as her, nicely tell her your situation and ask if it wouldn't be a problem to ask her what size she is. usually works for me.

Get her Misses size, because of her height Juniors clothes would be too short.
Hard to tell what size, everyone has rolls in different areas, or they're shortwaisted, or a shovel-butt.
You can always put the receipt in a sealed envelope with the gift, so she can exchange it if it doesn't fit right.

try for 12 long for clothes, maybe get her a gift card from a store that she likes....

get a goft card to a store that way you dont have to embarrass her in any way, it is the safe way to go.
