You'll have to have a regulator meant for use with your stove. But a 20# tank won't last very long. Get a 100# tank from a propane place & make sure you have the right orifice for propane use.

First, the stove has to be set up for propane. If it is a natural gas stove, you will need to get a conversion kit. DO NOT TRY TO RUN A NATURAL GAS STOVE ON PROPANE WITHOUT THE KIT! Next you will have to get the proper fittings. Also, DO NOT have the propane tank in the house or building.
