I only did it because I was in a hurry for a church, but the people in the company don't know about it

well, the person in charge said that we have to wait for a call for 7 days and when I have finished filling out the form, I asked where the person in charge is. The person on the front desk said she went down for lunch and I just left with him the form because I have to go to the church. Is it still ok for me to leave it there? Thanks in advance

No, because someone can get your ss# and take your identity. That's a real hassle to deal with.

As long as someone was around to receive it (not necessarily the person in charge), I think it would be ok. If nobody was around, not so good.

I sure wouldn't! If you want the job you need to be able to spend the time to be there. What if they wanted to interview you? You can't say, "No, I have to go!"

I would have waited for them to return.
